Years ago I used to post regularly on LiveJournal and had a small network of online friends there. Then Facebook came along, followed by Twitter and other social media sites, and I ended up letting LJ go.
FB and Twitter can be toxic, though, and I've often remembered those LJ days with a lot of affection. COVID-19, and all the turmoil around it, has prompted me to return and try to re-establish links with those old friends. So I've also set up a Dreamwidth account, as I believe many old LJers have migrated there. I will be cross-posting future entries to LJ.
